The British association of beer makers has promised to continue its fight against the governments plans to hike taxes on beer.
Pub Landlords have united against the tax rises and have vowed to maintain a strong defence in favour of offering cheaper beer to the consumer. UK pubs closed at a rate of 52 per week in the first half of 2009, which is a third more than the same period in 2008.
This has been announced Wednesday by the British Beer & Pub Association, the BBC reported.
